An Angel Visits Mary

The birth of the Lord Jesus came about in a miraculous way. A simple, pure, young woman named
Mary was visited by one of God’s angels. The angel told Mary that she would have a son by the Holy
Spirit of God.

Moses as a Baby

When the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt, the king declared that all the male babies should be
killed. Moses’ mother saved her baby by putting him in a little boat and floating it in the river. The
king’s daughter found Moses and loved him. She rescued him and took him to live in the palace as
her own son.

Joshua & the Battle of Jericho

Joshua led the Israelites to victory in the Battle of Jericho. God told Joshua to have the people march
around the city seven times in complete silence. At the end of the seventh time around the city,
Joshua charged the trumpeters to blow their trumpets, and the walls of the city fell down!

Christmas

Christmas is celebrated all over the world and is the most popular Christian holidays. This is a
day when the birth of Christ is remembered. Typically, Christmas day means celebrating with
friends and family and lots of feasts and gift giving.
