Objective: Students will write a subjective critique of a movie they have seen recently. Students will gain experience in making an analysis and expressing their ideas and opinions in a formal setting.
List several popular movie titles on the board. Student volunteers can orally give their opinions of the movies. After a class discussion of movies, each student will critique a movie seen recently for which he or she has a strong like or dislike. The movie review draft will be written according to the template and posted on our class newspaper webpage.
Students will use their computers and the Internet to complete this assignments.
