Students will: learn about people who risked their lives to save others, write a reflective essay based on what the students might have done had they lived in Nazi-occupied Europe. Students use a chart showing the locations and number of deaths in Nazi camps to complete map and chart-reading skill work sheets. Students will: read biographies and write letters Students will research sources to select words, such as terms, place names, or people names, for each letter of the alphabet to best convey the history of the Holocaust. Students learn about the events that occurred before, during, and after the Holocaust and create a time line showing how those events are connected. |
