Lesson Plans - FebruaryTo allow students to experience winter Olympic activities in the gym. Students have the opportunity to use various locomotor and manipulative skills in the stations. This is an opportunity for young children to get acquainted with the Olympic Games, but most importantly the central message during the activities is one of friendship and peace. People playing and working together in peace and friendship makes for a better and beautiful world.

Students will explore websites for the Winter Olympics and be able to use information found on the websites to complete specific tasks related to Olympic symbols.
Students will create a six-sided brochure that showcases the culture and history of a specific host country for the Olympic games and that focuses on one sport.
