Student Learning-Strengths Inventory

Students will

* take an online inventory to determine their learning strengths and weaknesses.
* create graphs to show their learning strengths. (optional)
* build self-esteem by learning about their personal learning strengths.
* learn about areas where they might need to work harder.
* learn to appreciate differences among their classmates.

An Apple (Notepad) for Parents

Students will

* print three copies of the apple template provided in this lesson.
* write (or type) your name on each apple (for a total of 12 apples).
* cut the apples apart and staple them together to make a notepad

First Day of School

* Students will get to know me
* Students will demonstrate their ability to reflect upon themselves and their accomplishments by writing on the very first day
* I will learn something interesting/memorable about my students
