Students explore the events of 1957 and 1958 at Little Rock High School, conduct a survey of racial harmony at their school, create a graph displaying the results of the survey, discuss racial attitudes today.

This activity will introduce students to the relationship between population growth and water availability, asking them to analyze data and report on the water situation in a developing country with an arid climate. Pre-requisite: Students must have prior knowledge of graphing linear equations and solving systems of equations by graphing, substitution and elimination. The student will learn to organize and display information in bar graph form using Valentine’s Day candies. |
