All about Bugs: An Insect Lesson Plan

This preschool insect lesson plan will teach your class basic insect facts. Your students will learn that an insect has six legs and three body parts: the head, thorax, and abdomen.

“What Insect Am I”

Familiarize the students with the different parts of an insect. In this one hour game, kindergarteners will use information given to them as clues from index cards to identify different types of insects placed in front of them.
