Teacher will read the story “I Can Lick 30 Tigers Today!” from the Dr. Seuss book of the same title. I think that this book is easy enough for my first grade class to understand. It is also an entertaining selection. 
The students will listen to a story, then use the same format to write a class book.
Students will read Dr. Seuss’ books and participate in different activities for 15 different books.
Practice basic locomotor skills and increase aerobic endurance.
