The Earth Bowl is a three dimensional, edible representation of the earth in cross section Students will understand the following: To gain experience with the thinking process involved in constructing an earthquake-proof building. Using a candy bar, gum, and Twizzlers, students will demonstrate the effects of deformational forces on the earth’s crust. |
