We all know we want to stay out from under the mistletoe, but how many of us know how this tradition started? In this activity, students will research how that and many other Christmas traditions started.
The student will be able to create a timeline showing when major changes and additions have happened in our Christmas traditions.

Students will understand why Hanukkah is important to the Jewish people. 2. Students will be able to recognize that symbols and customs have meaning in celebrations. They help us remember what we are celebrating. Four websites give the answers to questions on Chanukah.
