How can students learn more about the animals during their visit to the zoo? … in a short period of time? Have the students group together… give each group an animal (or animal group) to learn about. Have them spend more time with that animal than any of the other animals. Have someone (or each can do this) be in charge of writing down information about the animal as they watch. This is what the zoo’s researchers do when they are learning about the animals.
