What Is at the Zoo? introduces students to the interrogative sentence form by asking them which animals are at the zoo. Although students may wish it were so, the last animal isn’t seen in zoos these days. Pictures support early readers. Using Q-tips or new water color brushes, paint animal crackers with edible paint made from corn syrup and food coloring. You can buy plastic animals at the toy store. They are pretty inexpensive. Set up your own little zoo using the plastic animals and the blocks. |
