Lesson Plans - Language ArtsStudents will partner read a biography from a selection of well-know African-Americans. -Students will list the key accomplishments of the individual and how they changed our society. -Students will create a poster to share with others what they have learned about the contributions of these great citizens. 
In this lesson, students use a word processing or spreadsheet program to organize a database/timeline of important events related to famous people in African American history.
