Lessons for Life in a Stream

Students will:

Understand the importance of biodiversity.

Identify factors affecting the balance of an ecosystem.

Understand the effects of human activities on aquatic ecosystems by
investigating a local threatened fish species, the redside dace.

Study conservation efforts of government agencies, action groups
and local communities.
