How Does Your Tree Measure Up?

Students will: follow directions, work with partners or in small groups, measure accurately, accurately calculate data about a tree.

Materials Needed: * ruler * stick or dowel, about 4 feet in length * 8 small sticks (ice pop sticks will work well) per team/group * roll of string * square centimeter sheet * plastic bag (optional)
